Beckford's Tower, Bath - Bath and North East Somerset (UA)

Beckford's Tower was built by William Beckford in 1826-7 as a personal retreat which functioned both as an observatory and home for his art, furniture and book collections. Between 1997-2000, the tower and lantern structure underwent a programme of significant structural repairs. There is currently water ingress within the lantern. The Repair Phase funding has been secured with funders including National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England. which commenced in May 2023.
