West Horsley Place, Epsom Road, West Horsley - Guildford
Country house, C15 timber-framed hall and domestic wing, refronted in brick in the C17 with C18 alterations and internal features. The house has suffered from deferral of maintenance under private ownership and now stands in need of a major renovation of the frame, brickwork and roof as well as all decorative finishes. A recently created Trust has taken on the building which is now being used in conjunction with Grange Park Opera, operating from the grounds. Further uses being explored. Immediate structural remediations have been addressed and a phased programme of repairs is in progress.
