Carclew, Mylor - Cornwall (UA)
Mid-C18 formal terraced and water gardens, together with an C18 landscape park. The main house burned down in 1934 and the site is now in divided ownership. Infill residential development has taken place in the park belts, substantial areas of woodland have been cleared and many individual parkland trees have been lost. The ruins of Carclew House, a II* listed building, were added to the HAR Register in 2017. A steering group has been established with the owners of Carclew House, and a Conservation Statement has been prepared (January 2021) for the core site.
