Kidbrooke Park, Forest Row - Wealden

C18 park with surviving early C19 features, including a designed water system attributed to Repton and later gardens. Sold and broken up after WWII, the house became a Steiner Waldorf school which has its own unique significance. Edge development reduced the park, and ornamental features need repair and maintenance. New imaginative opportunities for embedding the landscape within pupils' curriculum, through the school's values, and a Parkland Plan (part-funded by Natural England) are emerging along with developing sustainable school uses for parkland buildings.
