Abbey Church of St Mary, St Sansom and St Branwalader, Milton Abbas - Dorset (UA)

Formerly church of a Benedictine abbey now used as a school chapel. Mainly C14, upper part of tower and north transept C15. Restored c1790 by J Wyatt and 1865 by Sir Gilbert Scott. Walls of stone and flint with ashlar dressings. Nave and aisles were not rebuilt after fire in C14. Repairs to roofs, windows, floors and drainage has been completed with Viridor funding. Transept roofs and tower louvres remain vulnerable.
