Bramshill Park, Mattingley / Bramshill / Eversley - Hart
Rare early C17 gardens and 'prodigy' house for royal visits within a park of medieval origin created for entertaining and recreation, whose key parkland features remains intact despite later C18 informalisations and some fragmentation of the wider park. Previously in institutional use with many college buildings built in the core the estate was sold in 2014 and faces discussions for its future. With other changes and ownerships in the wider park, the park and garden is vulnerable to fragmentation and loss of integrity and a co-ordinated Conservation Management Plan process would be welcome.
