Church of St Peter, Church Road, Forncett, Forncett - South Norfolk

Parish church. C11, C14 and C15. Saxon round west tower with circular openings halfway up and near top. Tall nave with clerestory and north and south aisles, with Perpendicular windows. Nave and Chancel roofs are in urgent need of re-slating. The rainwater goods appear to be undersized and gullies are in a poor state. There is an area of subsided floor tiles towards the east end of the north aisle, adjacent to a C15 alabaster monument requiring conservation. In 2020 Historic England awarded a Covid-19 Emergency Heritage at Risk grant for project development work.
