Church of St Margaret, Main Street, Bucknall - East Lindsey

C13 church, restoration by James Fowler of 1884. The south chancel roof is showing signs of nail fatigue and there are slipped tiles to the south slope of the nave roof and damaged ridge tiles. Recovering may be required. Historic cracking is evident on most elevations and some recent cracks require monitoring. Evidence of damp internally on the north side. Some of the windows are suffering the effects of iron- jacking. The Parochial Church Council were successful in a recent funding bid in November 2021 and are continuing to be advised by the Diocesan Historic Churches Support Officer.
