Grane Mill, Haslingden including boundary walls and north yard - Rossendale

Cotton weaving factory with steam power plant, opened in 1907 and operating until 1979, now owned by the Heritage Trust for the Northwest and Little Gem Transport Museum Trust who are working on a joint future strategy for the site. Through Covid-19 heritage at risk funding, temporary repairs to the engine room trusses, windows, boiler house and northlight shed roof have been undertaken to safeguard historic interiors and machinery. There remain issues with asbestos contamination, the roof structure, corroding chimney bands and the damp environment negatively impacting historic machinery.
