Church of St Peter and St Paul, North Green, East Drayton - Bassetlaw

A parish church of late C12 origins with C13 and C15 work. Restored in 1857 by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners. Heavily embattled and described by Pevsner as a 'very complete' late medieval church externally. Extensive works recently completed to nave roof and medieval timber structure under a National Lottery Heritage Fund Grant for Places of Worship grant. South aisle also repaired in 2015 with grant from the Listed Places of Worship Roof Repair Fund. Repairs to north aisle roof carried out under Covid-19 recovery scheme HAR grant.
