Church of All Saints, Church Road, Walsoken - King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Parish church featuring possibly the largest Norman church nave in East Anglia. The Nave roof is made of hammer beams on arched braces which drop on wall post to corbels. The wall posts have canopied niches containing painted figures of Kings and Prophets. Painted angels terminate the hammer beams. Overall, the nave roof covering is leaking in several locations; there are extensive areas of water staining and the C15 roof is in danger. Funding required for major repairs. Project currently on hold with PCC in discussion with National Lottery Heritage Fund.
