Church of St John, Church Street, Goole - East Riding of Yorkshire (UA)

An early Victorian church, dominating the skyline of Goole. The stonework to the upper part of the central tower is eroding. The chancel roof has been re-covered with a grant from the Covid-19 Emergency Heritage at Risk Response Fund and is now in good condition. The south slope of the nave roof has been re-covered and other repairs have been undertaken. Further reroofing and repairs to the spire are planned. Work has been carried out to increase use of the church by the community.
