Description

The Hertfordshire mapping project was one of four joint RCHME and English Heritage crop-mark identification projects, undertaken by the RCHME Air Photography Unit, between 1990 and 1992, forming a pilot study for RCHME's National Mapping Programme. It was partly funded by English Heritage as part of the Monuments Protection Programme.

Contents : 64 AP transcriptions, 64 MORPH number sheets, 3 reports, disk

Archival History

The NMP Morph Number Sheets and pencil AP transcriptions for some quarter sheets were numbered with the same number as the ink AP transcription and '/1', e.g. 1048756/1 (SP 81 NE).
