Description
The Yorkshire Wolds NMP was carried out by RCHME aerial survey staff during 1981-1991.
The survey was conceived with the purpose of mapping the archaeological information found on over 35,000 aerial photographs taken of the Yorkshire Wolds between the 1950s and 1991.
The results of this mapping project were published in "Ancient Landscapes of the Yorkshire Wolds: Aerial photographic transcription and analysis."
