Description

Photographs were taken by English Heritage photographer Peter Williams in 2006 of medieval buildings in Sandwich, Kent.

They were requested by external consultant Sarah Pearson who was commissioned by and funded through English Heritage's 'Historic Environment Enabling Programme' to carry out an historic environment analysis of the development of the town up to AD1650. A publication is to follow the project.

Photography of other parts of Sandwich for Sarah Pearson has continued into 2007 with the possibility of further publications in the future.
