Description

The drawings seem to refer to work associated with the Royal Naval College at Osborne. The item is in poor condition. The drawings are in pencil, and are mostly hand-tinted, but were never completed. They show 2 plans of the ventilating dormers in the kitchen, with a section, and 2 elevations, a plan, section and front elevation of the gallery in the lecture room, and an elevation of a spandrel. The drawing is number 5. In the bottom left corner is an Admiralty stamp, and a stamp that says 'received in drawing office 10 1 11'. There is also what seems to be the number 104. In the top right corner is stamped 'D.W. 3 Dec 1910'. There are 2 numbers in the bottom right corner, 10476 and 4390/[?]o/c4B'. Very faint pencil writing, with most of the sentence having been torn off, mentions a date '19-5-0[?]3'.
