The drainage plan shows the Swiss Cottage and associated buildings, with drainage details marked in red and blue ink. There are also pencil annotations that give additional details. The item is stamped with a Plan Room reference number, 4136/28. Other numbers are: 10383, 543 and R/277/5. The bottom left corner has been cut away, and replaced with a piece of waxed linen that shows pencil drawings of alterations to the Swiss Cottage, including drainage details and showing a public WC next to the wash house.
