5/30 Barn 50 m N of Manor House

Barn. Circa 1700. Timber-frame weatherboarded, on brick plinth, corrugated asbestos sheet roof. 9 bay aisled with midstray porches in 2nd bay from right and 3rd from left, and stable door in left bay. To right of centre late C18 engine house on half-octagon hipped roof supported at corners on brick piers. On either side C19 5 bay wing, Roof half-hipped. Inside queen post roof with straight braces to cambered ties, curved braces to aisle plate and straight windbraces. Posts on baseplates on brick walls, and tied to top of walls.
