Originally a single Cl6-C17 timber-framed and pilastered house. No 5 (St Aubyns) was refronted in the C18. No 3 has a jettied upper storey on exposed joists and has exposed timber-framing. 2 storeys and attics.

3 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground storey to No 3 has a C20 shop front in C18 style and No 5 (St Aubyns) has a C20 door with a fanlight and a doorcase with pilasters and an open dentilled pediment. Roofs tiled, with 1 gabled dormer.

Nos 1 to 13 (odd) with Nos 38 to 42 (even). Church of St Mary Magdalen.

Nos 46 and Nos 57 to 63 (odd) High Street form a group.
