House, C16, timber framed with wattle and daub, rendered and colourwashed; pantile roof. 3 bays and chimney bay, single storey and attic. Bays 2 and 3 a C16 open hall with inserted floor; bay 1 and chimney bay, a C17 addition; lower single storey and attic addition to right. Large axial stack to left.

External stack to bay 3 now within lower end bay addition and having small shaft attached from end bay. Casement windows all renewed, of 1 to 3 lights, that to lower right end bay with glazing bars; doorway to bay 3; 3 raking dormers; openings to attic and ground floor of left return. Rear: timber framed rendered outshut to rear of bay 1; renewed casements; brick casing to left of rear df bay 3; 3 raking dormers. Interior: large fireplace to either side of chimney bay; bay 1 with higher ceiling and floor, decorative stops to bridging beam and front wall plate. Fireplace to bay 3 enclosed but with copper exposed. Complete timber framing to additional bay incorporating reused timbers. Straight braces, cambered sole plate to east gable end, ogee stepped tie beam, reused timber to ceiling joist with lozenge mortices for mullions. Attic with upright studs to cell partitions; roof with collars and butt purlins, curved braces to tie beam between cells 2 and 3 now enclosed. Additional lower cell to east with 2 tier butt purlin roof with collars, no ridge piece, gable end struts to purlins.
