Medieval cross base. Probably C13. Ham stone. Modern base (probably C19) of two circular steps, the lower about 3 metres diameter and 500mm high, the upper about 2 metres x 200mm; square cross base about 700mm wide x 400mm high, the upper bed chamfered to an octagon, with concave broaches Cross relocated in 1959, as described on an attached metal plate. (Pooley, Old Crosses of Somerset, 1877).
