II

House formerly a public house. Late C17 or early C18, with C20 renovation.

Timber framed and plastered. Thatched roof with end stack to right hand and red brick ridge stack with upper courses rebuilt. Two storeys, three unit lobby entry plan with outshut to left hand gable. Four ground floor and three first floor C20 casement windows and C20 door. (One leaded light casement window to outshut inscribed and dated 1766). Interior: Rebuilt hearth, exposed floor frames and timber frame. Some C18 plank doors.
