Ironstone walls, gabled tiled roof with stone eaves courses, brick end stacks. Two storeys and attic. Lean-to rear extension circa 1600 of brick under catslide roof, with large brick stack.

First floor has two 2-light traceried windows - mullions removed to take modern casements. One single-light C14 window and a small window lighting a former newel stair. Internally, ground floor has timber- framed partitions and large chamfered ceiling beams. Hall on first floor has a C14 fireplace and a further C14 window in rear wall - now blocked. C14 panelled partition originally between hall and solar - now reset. Present partition to solar made up of C18 panelling. Solar has moulded ceiling beam and wall plates.
