House. Probably C17 or early C18. Remodelled and extended in early C19.

Sandstone rubble with brick extension, hipped tiled roofs and brick stacks.

Three storeys, three by two windows, ground floor has no fenestration, first floor and top flbor have 2-light leaded casements, those to the first floor under tiled gablets, centre top-floor window is blind, ledged C17 or C18 door into ground floor has hipped tiled canopy supported by two uncut baulks. Extension to left is two storeys, the ground-floor casement has a segmental head and the first-floor window a gablet matching those on main part. South elevation has oak-framed opening with diamond-section mullions to left side of ground floor (RCHM Vol II, p 184).
