6/30 Railings and flanking walls in front of Beechwood House -

GV II

Railings and flanking walls. Late C18. Wrought iron and brick. Railings are about 30 yards long and 3 feet high; Gothick style, ogee-arched top and mid- railings with round-lobed quatrefoil detail; railings form square "piers" at centre about 3 yards apart. Flanking walls are built in Flemish bond, are about 3 feet 6 inches high and 6 yards long, and terminate in square piers with pyramidal stone capping.
