Mid C19. 3 storeys quasi-Italianate. Red brick with Bath ashlar moulded impost bands, moulded cill bands with cill blocks and bracketed cornice. Slate roof with coped verges. 3 ranges of round headed windows with grey and Bath stone alternating voussoirs, raised keys; hood moulds with foliage stops. Cross glazed sash windows. 6 panel door with radiating fanlight to right. A heavy timber frame on side elevation to this house visible in throughpassage to right of No 39.
