Small country house. C18 altered early C19. Brick with colour washed stucco, roof slated. South front 2 storeys, 5 bays with flanking bays projecting slightly under main roof, single storey C19 wings to each side, extending to left into service range. Central C18 6-panelled door with semi-circle web fanlight under wide modified Doric porch. All windows early C19 4-light mul- lioned and transomed with contemporary casements, ground-floor windows have low cills. In wings early-C19 3-windowed bow, each window like rest of windows, with cornice and parapet above. On right parapet extends along whole wing, hiding eaves. Roof hipped and low pitched with wide flat eaves. Rendered stacks at either end of main building and on ridge in line with projection of flanking bays. C19 wing to rear.
