Statue group, SW one of a group of 4 to the centre of the S parterre.

Possibly c.1730. Lead statue group, ashlar plinth, the whole approximately 3 metres high. Shows striding soldier carrying struggling female figure, with a crouching male figure to one side. Rectangular plinth, which splays out at base, is apparently C19.
