5/75 Barn and Byre at 1.11.66 Meadowbank Farm

Barn and byre. "IH 1700" on door lintel but added to and altered in the C18, C19 and C20. 4 builds: the first (from left) brick, the second hammer-dressed stone, the third snecked stone and the fourth squared rubble all with a graduated stone slate roof. Projecting plinth. Central cart doors with rows of vents on either side. A door to the right is basket-arched, chamfered and has a dated lintel.

The C18 bay to left has square-cut door and window surrounds. Loft hatch to right gable with shaped lintel.

The majority of the roof structure is repaired or replaced.
