Mid C18. Red brick. Pitched tile roof. Red brick stacks. 2 storeys and attics.

Eaves cornice of diagonally placed bricks. 4 flush-framed sashes with glazing barn on 1st floor, 2 (without glazing bars) on ground floor. 2 attic dormers with hipped tile roofs and casements. Planked door in surround with reeded pilasters, paterae capitals and flat moulded hood on cut brackets; 2 lozenges between brackets.

Right hand part has modern garage doors, 1 window with glazing bars on ground floor and 1 planked loft door over. Pavement in front probably C18 consists of large Purbeck setts.

St Martin's Church, the retaining wall of the churdyard, Lord Nelson Public House and No 54 form a group.
