GV II
Very fine pair of houses, probably originally one house. Circa 1700. Each 3 storey 3 window and one pedimented dormer. Brown brick red dressings. Painted brick bands between storeys. Modillion eaves cornice. Flush framed windows with C19 stucco architraves. Ground floors now stuccoed. Carved segmental hoods to doors (that to No 12 is a copy, and that to No 11, the original, is slightly cut into on left by projecting screen wall. Interior panelling. (R.C.H.C. p 78). The most important houses in the square, though they are virtually in Thackeray Street.
