Kestrel and Kingfisher Cottages GV II

Two dwellings, part of group. C18 origin, frontage rebuilt early to mid C19. Lower part of deeply coursed millstone grit with quoins, upper part of hammer dressed stone. Stone slate roof. Gable copings. Moulded kneelers. Two ashlar stacks. Two storeys. South-east elevation: ground floor: 2 central doors. One 4-light and one 3-light stone mullined window. First floor: one 4-light, one 3-light and one 2-light stone. mullioned window. North-west elevation: first floor: two 2-light double chamfered stone mullioned windows. South-west gable: first floor: one 2-light double chamfered stone mullioned window.
