4/38 Barn about 25 yards south of The White House -

GV II

Barn. Probably early C18. Rubble plinth, timber-frame with weatherboards and corrugated iron roof. Six bays aligned north-west/south-east. Second bay from south-east has ledged opposed doors to threshing floor, those to south-west are full-height. Early C20 open lean-to against right hand part of north-east side. Frame: three panels high from plinth. Interior: raking struts from ties to principals; collars supported by queen struts.
