Description

The buildings on the left of this photograph, and Holywell Street and surrounds, were demolished shortly after the photograph was taken to make way for the Aldwych development. A handwritten note accompanying the photograph reads: "Looking towards Holywell St (Booksellers' Row) from the west showing Mooney's Irish House and the entrance to Drury Court".
