Summerhouse at the Yews, Kimberly Road, Nuthall - Broxtowe

A Gothic summerhouse, circa 1759, probably by Thomas Wright and formerly in the garden of Nuthall Temple. Coursed and square rubble and brick with ashlar dressings and pantile roof. Significant vegetation growth around and over the roofs into the upper gutters. Loss of roof covering has permitted structural timber decay and localised instability in the decayed masonry, particularly in the rear gable masonry which is at risk of collapse if continued water ingress is not prevented.
