Ruins at Bletchingley Castle, Bletchingley - Tandridge

Norman ringwork and bailey, with the remains of a rare stone built Norman house. The ruins were previously excavated. Some trees are growing close to the fragile masonry of the house, which is overgrown with vegetation and in need of consolidation. The condition of the ruins of the house put the site at risk. It is hoped that a project can be developed to conserve the ruins.
