Church of St John the Baptist, Church Lane, Chilcompton - Somerset Council (UA)
Parish church dating from the C15 much rebuilt in the C19. The nave north parapet has been secured, and there was a significant problem in the eastward parts of the building which had severe frost damage to limestone copings and string courses and further problems with poor walling stone and pointing. A Listed Places of Worship Roof Repairs Grant awarded in 2015 enabled most work to be completed. Some very significant boundary wall repairs are still required and as of 2022 works are being proposed to address the issue.
